People seek counselling to help them deal with the ups and downs of life. Maybe you've found yourself here because you feel stressed, anxious and overwhelmed - or due to an unexpected life event.
Having experience working with complex issues and challenging situations with people from all backgrounds, I understand how difficult life can be.
Help starts with a conversation in a safe and confidential space.
About me and my practice
My methods centre on humanistic therapies, putting the client at the centre of the therapeutic process. People know themselves better than anyone else; they may need help understanding.
Together, we can work on present and past events so you can manage your life with clarity. Stress
Stress is a part of life, but in the modern world, it often becomes overbearing.
Work, school and financial stress leave us feeling burnt out, tired and unwell.
I can help clients manage their stress better and adopt behaviours that keep stress under control.
Experience
The relationships we have with our family, friends and partners are a major driver of happiness, but also challenge, in our lives.
I offer counselling services that aid my clients in examining why their relationships are affecting them in a certain way, what they seek from their relationships, and how to make changes in their lives to improve the relations they have with others.
Anxiety and Depression
Sometimes, things are hard. Your mind is working overtime, leaving you overwhelmed.
I offer services to counsel people through depressive episodes to give them the tools they need to get back to themselves. For anxiety, I provide the support needed to identify the reason behind the anxiety and make the changes to manage it.
Grief
Loss affects us all in different ways.
The loss of a family member, friend, or beloved pet can leave us feeling lost.
I provide counselling to people bereaved and in the grief process and aid them to come to terms with their loss and manage life in the present.

Additional Information
I came into this profession after many years working as a stylist. Due to illness, I was unable to continue and needed to retrain.
Becoming a counsellor was the path my life was supposed to take. Having a deeper understanding of my childhood adversity and how it shaped my life has given me the passion for moving forward now and helping others.
